Ready-made calibration for the VR6 engine in a Golf IV based on the Bosch ME7.1 controller. The file is prepared as a base for project cars – through-flow exhaust, sport manifold, intake modifications, or track configurations.

The package includes:

PopBang – controlled exhaust backfires when lifting off the throttle, maintaining stable engine operation and reasonable exhaust gas temperature. Calibration based on ignition modification, cut-off, and overrun strategy.

Hardcut – hard rev limiter with a distinct sound effect. Configured according to project needs (stock or raised limiter).

O2 OFF – deactivation of post-catalyst lambda sensor diagnostics. A solution used with sport exhausts or deleted catalytic converters. No MIL errors related to the second sensor.

The file is based on a full reference read of the ECU. The calibration structure remains logical and clear for further editing in WinOLS. The solution is intended for workshops and tuners working on ME7.1.
