How RaceChip works

RaceChip is an external chip tuning box (power box) that connects to the factory wiring harness and optimizes sensor signals sent to the ECU (e.g., boost pressure, injection, temperature). As a result, the ECU selects more favorable operating parameters, resulting in more power, higher torque, and improved throttle response – without permanent software modifications.

  • Plug & Play – installation in just a few minutes, without soldering and without interfering with the ECU.

  • Reversibility – you disconnect the box → the car returns to factory settings.

  • Safety – operation within the engine reserves, protective functions and (depending on the version) Bluetooth connectivity with the application (modes: Eco , Sport , Race ).

FAQ

1) How does RaceChip work?

In short: it's an external power box that interfaces with engine sensors. It optimizes the signals reaching the ECU, resulting in improved fuel/air/boost settings within safe limits. It doesn't modify the ECU map, so it's reversible.

2) Diesel or petrol tuning box?

RaceChip works with both diesel and petrol engines . With diesel, you'll feel the most torque and agility , while with petrol, you'll experience throttle response and linear acceleration .

3) Can I install RaceChip myself?


Yes. The Plug & Play tuning box is designed for self-assembly. We also offer a "RaceChip order with installation" service at our Krakow location.

4) Is RaceChip safe for the engine?

The box operates within the unit's reserve capacity and utilizes ECU safety features. Selecting the correct variant for your specific engine and proper installation are key to safety.
