Skoda Kodiaq 2.0 TSI 190 KM (MG1CS111 / 06K907309B / 045773 / 0002) – Stage 1 – +50 KM / +103 Nm

Skoda Kodiaq 2.0 TSI 190 HP (MG1CS111 / 06K907309B / 045773 / 0002) – Stage 1 – +50 HP / +103 Nm

The Skoda Kodiaq with the 2.0 TSI 190 HP engine is a spacious SUV with great running smoothness and decent performance, but like many EA888 Gen3B units, it has a lot of potential.
After individual modification of the Bosch MG1CS111 software, the engine shows a completely different face – much better dynamics, faster response to gas and a clearly stronger mid-range of revs.

MG1CS111 Controller – Next Generation Precision Calibration

Bosch MG1 controllers used in newer TSI petrol engines are advanced ECUs with a multi-level security and adaptation system.
Therefore, each modification requires a full bench reading , log analysis and individual adjustment of the fuel, ignition, torque and boost maps.

In this project we worked on ECU numbers:

  • 🧠 ECU: MG1CS111

  • 💾 HW: 06K907309B

  • 🧩 SW: 045773 / 0002

Stage 1 Mod Effects

Parameter In series After modification Increase
Power (hp) 182 hp 232 hp +50 hp
Torque (Nm) 318 Nm 421 Nm +103 Nm

After modification, the unit behaves like a completely different engine:

  • ⚡ accelerates more dynamically from 2000 rpm,

  • 🚗 flexibility in the mid-range has increased by over 30%,

  • 💨 the response to gas is immediate, without the delays typical of series,

  • 🧭 the car accelerates smoothly up to the upper revs.

Despite the significant power increase, all parameters – EGT, AFR, knock – were kept within the safe OEM range .

ECU modification process

The modification was performed fully manually based on data from the Dynomax / Dynomet dynamometer, in compliance with MG1 safety procedures.

Scope of work:

  1. 💻 Reading and writing ECU MG1CS111 using bench method (full read/write).

  2. 🔍 Log analysis and diagnostics – boost pressure, AFR, ignition, knock.

  3. ⚙️ Individual calibration of torque, pressure, ignition and rev limits maps.

  4. 📈 Final test on the dynamometer – validation of results and control of operational stability.

The proprietary calibration was developed for a specific software number (045773 / 0002) , without the use of predefined drivers or generated maps.

Effects in practice

  • 🚀 significantly better acceleration in D and S modes,

  • ⚙️ full use of the DSG gearbox potential,

  • 💨 stable turbine operation – no overboost,

  • 🔧 smooth power characteristics without jerks,

  • ⛽ preserved fuel consumption when driving economically.

After modification, the Kodiaq retains full comfort and driving refinement, approaching the performance of the 2.0 TSI 245 HP version.

For tuners and workshops – MG1CS111 file processing

For B2B partners we offer professional processing of ECU MG1CS111 files for EA888 Gen3B (2.0 TSI) engines:

  • 💾 Stage 1 / Stage 2 / Pop&Bang / GPF OFF / Vmax OFF ,

  • ⚙️ Individual calibration for a specific SW/HW ,

  • 🧠 Log analysis and technical support ,

  • ⏱️ Implementation: 30–40 minutes ,

  • 📊 Dynomax / Dynomet dynamometer tests .

Each file is manually processed with full AFR, knock and EGT control – without the risk of overloading the equipment.
