Before modifying a 1.8T VAG engine, it's crucial to properly prepare the car to ensure the modification is safe and delivers the desired results. Based on experience, I recommend a comprehensive service that includes at least:

• Replacing spark plugs with new ones,

• Checking the ignition coils,

• Engine oil and filter replacement,

• Replacing the air filter,

• Checking the tightness of the intake,

• Checking the exhaust leaks,

• Checking the N75 valve (if it is still original – I recommend replacing it with a new one).

Only after such preparation can we move on to tuning, which includes diagnostics, power measurements before and after, and individual tuning for dynamic logs.

If a faulty car is provided for modification, the cost of fault diagnosis is PLN 500 gross.
