Chiptuning Training - ECU and WinOLS Course | Stage X | ECM Titanium | Mentoring

Do you want to learn chip tuning and ECU modification but don't know where to start?

Online, you'll find a lot of fragmented information about ECU maps, WinOLS, or increasing engine power, but most of it doesn't show the tuner's entire work process.

We maximally support the automotive industry in introducing tuning services and acquiring competencies so that you become an expert with clients who recommend you.

I know what's available on the market

That's why I created individual chiptuning training in the form of mentoring, during which you learn:

  • how to analyze ECU files
  • how to find maps in the controller
  • how to safely increase engine power
  • how to work in WinOLS / Stage X / ECM Titanium software

This is not a typical course with pre-recorded lessons.

This is direct cooperation with a tuner, where we solve real problems and work on actual files.

What will you learn during the chiptuning training?

During the mentoring, you will learn the practical process of an ECU tuner's work – from controller analysis to map modification.

Key training topics:

Fundamentals of chiptuning

  • how the ECU engine controller works
  • what parameters affect engine power
  • the difference between torque and power

Working with ECU files

  • reading and analyzing controller files
  • ECU file structure
  • identifying maps in the controller

Working in WinOLS

  • searching for maps in the file
  • analyzing map axes
  • editing torque and fuel maps
  • safely increasing engine power

Modifying ECU maps

  • torque maps
  • boost maps
  • fuel and AFR maps
  • limitations and limiters in the controller

Safe engine tuning

  • how to avoid engine damage
  • what parameters to monitor
  • how to check if the modification is safe

Why mentoring instead of a regular course

Most chiptuning training looks like this:

  • you watch recordings
  • you get theory
  • you're left alone with problems that don't fit the mold

In mentoring, it's different.

We work directly with you and solve specific problems.

Thanks to this, the support covers the area of:

  • Competencies - you learn from real cases, you send your own projects to discuss them in class,
  • Business - customer contact, client acquisition, company image, sensible investment - you can waste a lot of money without this advice.

This is the shortest way to learn chiptuning. Consider whether, in an increasingly competitive market, you can afford the mistakes and the time you'll waste.

Who is this chiptuning training for?

Mentoring is for people who:

  • want to learn ECU modification and stop buying files.
  • are starting their adventure with chiptuning
  • want to learn how to work in WinOLS
  • run a car workshop and have time to learn.
  • want to create tuning files independently

If until now:

  • you bought files from other tuners
  • you don't know how to find maps in the ECU
  • you want to start doing Stage1 yourself

then this mentoring is for you.

  • How chiptuning mentoring works

The training is a kind of path to a goal.

    During mentoring, you will:

    • Supplement your knowledge with thematic handbooks
    • Learn universal tuning strategies as a starting point
    • Become familiar with the environment of specific ECUs (Bosch, Delphi, Siemens, Continental)
    • Learn to apply known tuning strategies to these specific ECUs
    • See practical examples of changes in specific engines supported by dynamometer charts
    • Have 1:1 consultations where we determine your and your company's further development.

Thanks to this, you learn practical chiptuning, not just theory.

    Results after training

After mentoring, you will be able to:

    • Independently create stage 1 files
    • Search for maps in controllers
    • Modify torque and fuel maps
    • Use damos files
    • Perform a safe Stage 1
    • Work in WinOLS software
    • Work in ECM Titanium and Stage X editors
    • Understand the issues of deactivating ecological systems with specific examples
    • Plan further development, already as a specialist
  • Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know WinOLS before the training?

No. During mentoring, you will learn to work with the program from scratch.

    Is mentoring for beginners?

You need to have experience working with cars and an understanding of how an internal combustion engine works. Mechanics, electronics engineers, diagnosticians, and garage hobbyists all manage. A theoretical enthusiast might have trouble grasping it.

Will we work with real files?

Yes. We analyze real ECU files and learn from practical examples tested on a dynamometer.

Will I be able to do Stage1 after the training?

Yes, for a wide range of vehicles, not just diesels and not just Bosch.

Will I be able to do DPF off / EGR off after the training?

The program includes learning how to deactivate for specific ECUs, both manually and with the support of "automatic" deactivation programs. Stage 1 will not be a problem for most ECUs, but deactivations require much more experience than we can achieve in a few/several months.
