Diagnostics and measurement analysis

During measurements on the Dynomax / Dynomet dynamometer, we performed three stages of testing:

1️⃣ Car with a faulty air flow meter (MAF) - lowered air values ​​caused a loss of power and uneven engine operation.
2️⃣ After repairing the intake system and replacing the air flow meter , the engine returned to factory values, regaining stock performance.
3️⃣ After software modification (Stage 1) – the final measurement showed a clear improvement in dynamics and torque.

After the modification, the engine has become much more flexible, responds faster to gas, and acceleration under load is smooth and stable.

Driver and modification process

The Bosch EDC16C39 controller is a proven unit used in many Fiat / Iveco vehicles.
In this case we did:

• 📊 Reading and writing ECU in bench mode,

• 🔍 Log analysis: air flow, boost, EGT, fuel doses,

• 💻 ECU file processing – individually tailored chip tuning Stage 1 file ,
